Since our lab does a lot of flow cytometry, we use this machine to spin down our sample plates to get rid of the supernatent afterwards. After every single time we finish staining, we would use this to spin down our cells to separate the supernatent and the cells to provide with our staining protocols before running it on flow. Our specific model was from 2009 and even now its been working very well and no problems at all.
Centrifuge and Plates
The machine is very simple, you just have to set a timer and the speed and you can start.
Make sure to balance very well or else the machine will be very loud.
