Product Name:

HIF1A Monoclonal Antibody (mgc3)

Catalog Number:

MA1-516

HIF1A protein plays a significant role during hypoxic conditions and can modulate the transcription of several genes involved in angiogenesis and metastasis. We used this antibody for probing HIF1A in MCF7 cell lysates after treatment with our molecule of interest.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Western Blot

Sample

Cell Lysates of MCF7

Primary Incubation

1:1000 dilution prepared in blocking solution, incubated overnight at 4 degrees

Blocking Agent

5% skimmed non-fat milk in PBST20

Secondary Incubation

1:5000 anti-mouse HRP antibody, incubated for an hour at RT

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

ECL based detection was used

Results Summary

We observed the right size band (116 kDa) and upon treatment, we could see the reduction in HIF1A protein levels.
