Bio-Rad Thermal Cycler

We have two of these thermal cyclers-one was purchased a few years ago, and one was purchased about a year ago. We use these for all of our genotyping and cDNA synthesis and so far they've worked great. We wanted something that was going to last, wasn't terribly expensive, and was easy to use. This cycler has a really user-friendly interface and the touch screen makes it suuuuper simple to input programs. I like that it gives you a countdown to when you'll be done-our older eppendorf cycler doesn't do that!
