Kit used to successfully design gRNA for downstream CRISPR applications. Specifically seeking to knockout a mitosis protein, use of siRNA has previously been inefficient.

Pre-designed DNA primers created using Thermo's CRISPR gRNA tool
Designed primers to synthesize my primers using CRISPR gRNA tool. Performed PCR amplification (using pre-designed primers that added on T7 promoter). Reverse transcribed PCR product to produce gRNA.
Carefully plan each step, utilize Thermo reps to clarify protocol.
I was able to generate a PCR product, and visualize my gRNA primers on a gel.

Overall, the assay was pretty easy to perform.
The kit is EXPENSIVE.
Worked pretty well to generate my gRNAs, although its impossible to be sure they work until I've completed additional work.
