The goal of the experiment was to isolate genomic DNA so I could gain sequence data. This kit is used to extract genomic DNA from cells. The kit has a simple to follow protocol and provides DNA that is suitable for downstream PCR applications. I chose this product because I have used other Genejet products and they have worked well.
