Jet prime reagent is a very effective transfecting reagent which can be used to transfect the eukaryotic cells with plasmid / siRNA in a single step reaction. This kit can be used in very low concentrations of the DNA /siRNA transfecting the cells with less toxicity.

The kit can be used by following the manufacturer's protocol. Briefly, the cells are trasfected at 70% confluency. The DNA and the transfection reagent are added at 1:3 ratio in 300 microliter buffer solution, which is provided with the kit and incubated at room temperature for 20 minutes and added to the adherent cells drop by drop. Incubate for 24 hours and the cells are analysed after the 24 hr incubation step.
Do not transfect the cells which are more than 90% confluent
