Company:

eBioscience

Product Name:

APC anti-mouse CD4

Catalog Number:

17-0042-82

CD4 is expressed on a subset of T cells called helper T cells and is considered as a lineage marker. I used this antibody as a compensation control for the APC channel. The expression was specific and fluorescence was good. Except for a non-specific shift in the negative population, the antibody worked perfectly fine.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Mouse splenocytes

Primary Incubation

25 minutes on ice

Blocking Agent

CD16/32 antibody for blocking Fc receptors

Secondary Incubation

Flow cytometry

Results Summary

The fluorescence was good and specific staining was observed. A small shift in the negative population was also observed which may affect experiments looking at CD4 expression changes over time.
