Product Name:

Anti-Mouse CD31 (PECAM-1) PerCP-eFluor® 710

Catalog Number:

46-0311

We used this antibody to identify endothelial cells, which are CD45 negative and CD31 positive. Our research investigates the ability of endothelial cells from tissues or lymph nodes to modulate immune responses.

Experimental Design and Results Summary

Applications

Flow Cytometry

Sample

Murine lymph nodes

Primary Incubation

1:1000 for 20 minutes at 4 degC

Blocking Agent

2.4G2 Fc block

Secondary Incubation

None

Tertiary Incubation

None

Detection

Canto II flow cytometer

Results Summary

CD31 gives strong endothelial cell staining, which works well on most colors we have tested. In applications where endothelial cells are rare, it is important to also use CD45 to exclude hematopoietic cells, and to use a live/dead marker to exclude dead cells.
