Although this is one of the more expensive Tim-3 antibodies, it is the one that is most reliable. I have noticed no non-specific binding in my studies.

I have used this to identify Tim-3 expressing cells from genetic mouse models that induce Tim-3 (compared to KO's) as well as in LCMV infected mice. Its co-expression with PD-1 defines an exhausted subset in chronically infected mice. Tim-3 is also constitutively expressed on mast cells.

I have been able to titrate this antibody down to 1/5 of the recommended use and because of its reliability, it actually saves us money in the long run.
