The PCR machine was used to quantify the relative gene expression levels. The StepOnePlus software is very intuitive and easy to use. The Fast protocol was used in this run.

Run your plate prior to labelling each well and assigning probes- saves time

Results Summary

The fast protocol allowed the RT-qPCR to be completed in 45 minutes. The threshold levels for each gene were automatically derived by the software. The comparative delta delta Ct method setting also calculated the mean delta Ct values for each of the samples.
