This kit is used for purification of total RNA from animal cells and animal tissues and for cleanup of RNA from crude RNA preparations and enzymatic reactions (e.g., DNase digestion, proteinase digestion, RNA ligation, and labeling reaction).

I used this kit to separate RNA from rat tissue. Take the snap frozen tissue and homogenize. Put 400 µl of tissue lysate in columns. Then follow the manufactures’ instructions.
