Protocol Overview

Collect up to 5X10^5 cells, or less than 5mg of tissue. Follow the instructions by adding in the RLT reagent, RW1 reagent and lastly the RPE reagent. Then it is ready to elude the RNA in water.

Tips

The DNase digestion step is optional.

Results Summary

This kit could get a good amount of purified RNA from cell pellet or tissue.

The Bad

1.5ml Eppendorf tubes that come together with the kit does not match with the column very well. You can easily change it with other matched tubes.

The Bottom Line

This is a good kit for extracting RNA from a small amount of cells or tissue. It works wells and is very easy to handle. Results are satisfactory.
