Company:

Abcam

Product Name:

Anti-Cytochrome C antibody

Catalog Number:

ab110325

This antibody was used to detect mitochondria presence in rat liver. Total rat liver tissue was analyzed, as well as subcellular fractions (nuclear, cytosol, mitochondria, ER). The antibody worked well and is easy to multiplex using Odyssey detection. It is small (12Kda), therefore, it multiplexes well with other antibodies of larger molecular weight. One thing to keep in mind is that due to the small size, you may want to cut your gel run time down so it does not run off your gel, or get lost in a lengthy transfer.
