CD8 is expressed on MHC-I restricted T cells. Since this is a lineage marker, I wanted to see if it is easily detected by a weak fluorophore so I used BV650 conjugated CD8a antibody. The staining worked perfectly and even with other adjacent channels active it was easy to compensate. Even better was that CD8 expression is quite high, so even the weak fluorphore shows bright fluorescence.
