When used in conjunction with CD62L, we were able to separate activated/memory CD4 T cells from naive CD4 T cells. In an effort to find decent markers for the Alexa700 channel, we have tested CD3, CD4 and Thy1.2. The CD44 Alexa700 antibody was better than CD3 and CD4 Alexa700 but in our hands Thy1.2 Alexa700 was the best.
