Great antibody for detecting human CD42b

This antibody was used to select and gate on human platelets that were isolated by a method of centrifugation and washing from a sample of peripheral human blood. After purification, the cells were stained with this anti-CD42b mAb for 45 minutes at 4 degree C followed by analysis on a flow cytometer. About 40% purity was observed in this assay and it was easy to differentiate the platelet population from the background. I would highly recommend this antibody for selecting the platelet population from a preparation of washed platelets and for measuring human CD42b expression.
