I performed staining of mouse CD8 T cells, which were harvested from the splenocytes of a wild-type C57BL/6 mouse using bead based negative selection. The population of cells obtained was stained with a 1:200 dilution of this antibody and analyzed using flow cytometry. The figure shows that 97% of the cells were positive for CD8a expression, suggesting that purity of cells was high. There is a distinct shift in the fluorescence of positive cells compared to negative with little or no background staining.
