I wanted to investigate whether the target proteins had any diurnal variations in olfactory bulb tissue and investigate whether these proteins varied between biological replicates and over the course of a day. Here, I wanted to examine connexin43 phosphorylation levels via immunoblot in brain tissue. This antibody worked well for chemiluminescence reactions and showed up quickly.
Western Blot
Brain tissue homogenate
1:1000 overnight at 4 degrees C
5% milk in TBS (0.1% Tween-20)
1:10,000 for 90 minutes at room temperature

Chemiluminescence
Bands showed up at the correct weight quickly. Though the bands were not as crisp as they could have been, they were at the correct spot and less intense than the staining for total Cx43 (on the left).

Worked well the first time with minimal fuss.
May only work for immunoblot and not IHC or IP.
If you need a phospho-Cx43 antibody for immunoblotting, this one works well.
