The aim of this research is to study bone marrow progenitor cells in cancer. In my experiment, I tested if a cytokine associated with tumor promotion alters cell counts. We selected 7-AAD from Sigma specifically because 7AAD labels dead cells. Using this product I was able to differentiate viable cells from dying cells.
