GFP Polyclonal Antibody

The GFP Polyclonal Antibody from Thermo Fisher Scientific is a Rabbit Polyclonal antibody. The GFP Polyclonal Antibody has been shown to work in the following applications: Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry, and Western Blot.

Description

Thermo Scientific™ GFP Polyclonal Antibody is a rabbit IgG antibody developed for the sensitive detection of green fluorescent protein (GFP) and GFP-tagged fusion proteins derived from Aequorea victoria. Raised against purified native GFP, this antibody provides robust recognition of GFP and related variants, including YFP, while exhibiting no cross-reactivity with red fluorescent proteins such as mCherry. It is an excellent tool for confirming the expression, localization, and abundance of GFP-tagged proteins in a wide range of biological systems. Validated for Western blotting (WB), immunocytochemistry/immunofluorescence (ICC/IF), immunohistochemistry (IHC), immunoprecipitation (IP), flow cytometry (FC), ChIP, ELISA, and numerous additional research applications, this antibody has been cited in thousands of peer-reviewed publications. It enables reliable detection of GFP fusion proteins in transfected cells, tissues, and model organisms, making it well suited for studies of gene expression, protein localization, intracellular trafficking, protein-protein interactions, and cell signaling. Supplied as an affinity-purified, unconjugated rabbit polyclonal antibody in liquid format, it delivers consistent performance and broad application versatility for molecular biology, cell biology, developmental biology, and neuroscience research. For research use only.
