Overexpression Lysates

Overexpression lysates are derived from engineered cells generated by the transfection or transduction of a transgenic protein coding region. These recombinant cells are generally well-established cell lines, such as HeLa cells, insect cells, and HEK293 cells. These lysates are intended to contain abundant amounts of a particular protein and are generally used as standards for applications such as Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, and other protein-based assays.
