TBE Gels

Precast TBE gels are solidified polyacrylamide gels formulated with tris base, boric acid and EDTA. TBE is a nucleic acid buffer most commonly used in electrophoresis. The precast TBE gels come with varying numbers of wells and volumes. They provide a higher resolution than agarose gels and can be used for the separation of nucleic acids from 50 – 2000 base pairs.
