Digoxigenin is a small molecule steroid with use as a molecular conjugate to nucleic acids and proteins. Among its uses, digoxigenin is enzymatically attached to DNA and RNA probes as a detection label. Enzyme-labeled anti-digoxigenin antibodies can then be used for detection. Digoxigenin-labeled probes for ISH have been reported to be a suitable alternative to radiolabeled probes or other nonradioactive probes. Visit the supplier page for more information on the various forms of this chemical.
