These MTCO2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of MTCO2 in biological samples. MTCO2 is an alias of the human MT-CO2 gene, which encodes the protein, mitochondrially encoded cytochrome c oxidase II. Notably, MTCO2 is known to play a role in electron transport, among other functions. The MT-CO2 protein is described to be 227 amino acid residues in length and 25.6 kilodaltons in mass. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. Other names for this target antigen include COII and cytochrome c oxidase subunit II.
The detection range for different MTCO2 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 10 ng/L and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
