These CYP4A2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of CYP4A2 in biological samples. CYP4A2 is an alias of the human CYP4A11 gene, which encodes the protein, cytochrome P450 family 4 subfamily A member 11. Notably, CYP4A2 is known to play a role in fatty acid metabolism and kidney development, among other functions. The CYP4A11 protein is 519 amino acid residues in length and 59.3 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the ER of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in liver. Other names for this target antigen include CP4Y and CYP4AII.
There are CYP4A2 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
