SAT2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein spermidine/spermine N1-acetyltransferase family member 2, which is encoded by the SAT2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the N-acetylation of the amino acid thialysine (S-(2-aminoethyl)-L-cysteine), a L-lysine analog with the 4-methylene group substituted with a sulfur. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 170 residues, a mass of 19.2 kDa, and is a member of the Acetyltransferase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is widely expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include diamine N-acetyltransferase 2, diamine acetyltransferase 2, polyamine N-acetyltransferase 2, spermidine/spermine N(1)-acetyltransferase 2, and thialysine N-epsilon-acetyltransferase.
Some SAT2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
