ECRG4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ECRG4 augurin precursor, which is encoded by the ECRG4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a suspected hormone that may attenuate cell proliferation and induce senescence of oligodendrocyte and neural precursor cells in the central nervous system (By similarity). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 148 residues, a mass of 17.2 kDa, and is a member of the Augurin protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, cytoplasm, and is secreted and is reported to be expressed in the brain, with expression in the epithelial cell layer of the choroid plexus. Other alias names for this target include augurin and esophageal cancer related gene 4 protein.
The detection range for different ECRG4 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
