MYRF ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein myelin regulatory factor, which is encoded by the MYRF gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be involved in oligodendrocyte differentiation and the regulation of transcription. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1151 residues, a mass of 124.4 kDa, and is a member of the MRF protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus, ER, and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in the lung, ARPE-19 cell line, brainstem, uterus and, to a lesser extent, in basal ganglion and liver. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated and cleaved. The MYRF gene has been associated with the disease, Encephalitis/encephalopathy. Other alias names for this target include C11orf9, CUGS, MMERV, MRF, Ndt80, pqn-47, myelin gene regulatory factor, and 11orf9.
Some Myrf ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.312 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
