CLMP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein CXADR like membrane protein, which is encoded by the CLMP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in the cell-cell adhesion. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 373 residues and a mass of 41.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is reported to be highly expressed in the epithelial cells within different tissues and in the white adipose tissue. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The CLMP gene has been associated with the disease, Congenital short bowel syndrome. Other alias names for this target include adipocyte-specific adhesion molecule, coxsackie- and adenovirus receptor-like membrane protein, and CAR-like membrane protein.
The detection range for different CLMP ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.09 ng/mL and as high as 25 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
