PPAT ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein phosphoribosyl pyrophosphate amidotransferase, which is encoded by the PPAT gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the formation of phosphoribosylamine from phosphoribosylpyrophosphate (PRPP) and glutamine. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 517 residues, a mass of 57.4 kDa, and is a member of the Purine/pyrimidine phosphoribosyltransferase protein family. It is ubiquitously expressed across many tissue types. Other alias names for this target include GPAT, PRAT, amidophosphoribosyltransferase, glutamine PRPP amidotransferase, glutamine phosphoribosylpyrophosphatate amidotransferase, and ATASE.
The detection range for different PPAT ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
