MAGEA1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein MAGE family member A1, which is encoded by the MAGEA1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is suspected to be involved in transcriptional regulation through interaction with SNW1 and recruiting histone deactelyase HDAC1. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid sequence of 309 residues and a mass of 34.3 kDa. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm and is reported to be expressed in many tumors of several types, such as melanoma, head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, lung carcinoma and breast carcinoma, but not in normal tissues except for testes. Other alias names for this target include MAGE1, melanoma-associated antigen 1, MAGE-1 antigen, antigen MZ2-E, cancer/testis antigen 1.1, and CT1.1.
There are MAGEA1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.25 pg/mL and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
