The GroEL ELISA kits listed below are analytical tools for measuring concentrations of GroEL in various samples. GroEL is an alternative name for the human HSPD1 gene, which encodes the protein, heat shock protein family D (Hsp60) member 1. It has been mentioned that GroEL plays a role in the apoptotic pathway, among other functions. Structurally, the HSPD1 protein is 573 amino acid residues in length and 61.1 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. Other names for this target antigen include CPN60 and CPN60.
Some GroEL ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 1.56 ng/mL and as high as 250 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
