These Noxa ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Noxa in biological samples. Noxa is an alias of the human PMAIP1 gene, which encodes the protein, phorbol-12-myristate-13-acetate-induced protein 1. Notably, Noxa is known to play a role in the apoptotic pathway and carbohydrate metabolism and homeostasis, among other functions. The PMAIP1 protein is 54 amino acid residues in length and 6 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the mitochondria of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in adult T-cell leukemia cell line. Other names for this target antigen include APR.
Some Noxa ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 78.125 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
