TRPA1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein transient receptor potential cation channel subfamily A member 1, which is encoded by the TRPA1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is a known receptor-activated non-selective cation channel involved in pain detection and possibly also in cold perception, oxygen concentration perception, cough, itch, and inner ear function. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 1119 residues, a mass of 127.5 kDa, and is a member of the Transient receptor (TC 1.A.4) protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane and is noted to be expressed at very low levels in fibroblasts. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The TRPA1 gene has been associated with the disease, Episodic pain syndrome. Other alias names for this target include FEPS, FEPS1, p120, ankyrin-like with transmembrane domains 1, transformation-sensitive protein p120, and ANKTM1.
Some TRPA1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 1 ng/L and as high as 40 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
