These Drebrin ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Drebrin in biological samples. Drebrin is an alias of the human DBN1 gene, which encodes the protein, drebrin 1. Notably, Drebrin is known to play a role in in utero embryonic development, among other functions. The DBN1 protein is 649 amino acid residues in length and 71.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 3 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cytoplasm of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in the brain, with expression in the molecular layer of the dentate gyrus, stratum pyramidale, and stratum radiatum of the hippocampus. Other names for this target antigen include D0S117E and developmentally-regulated brain protein.
There are Drebrin ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 2 ng/L and as high as 3000 ng/L. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
