ADH4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein alcohol dehydrogenase 4 (class II), pi polypeptide, which is encoded by the ADH4 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the NAD-dependent oxidation of either all-trans-retinol or 9-cis-retinol. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 380 residues, a mass of 40.2 kDa, and is a member of the Zinc-containing alcohol dehydrogenase protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. Other alias names for this target include HEL-S-4, all-trans-retinol dehydrogenase [NAD(+)] ADH4, alcohol dehydrogenase 2, alcohol dehydrogenase class II pi chain, aldehyde reductase, and ADH-2.
Some ADH4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 50 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
