CDC6 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cell division cycle 6, which is encoded by the CDC6 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be involved in initiation of DNA replication. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 560 residues, a mass of 62.7 kDa, and is a member of the CDC6/cdc18 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally ubiquitinated. The CDC6 gene has been associated with the disease, Meier-Gorlin syndrome.
