These ASGPR ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of ASGPR in biological samples. ASGPR is an alias of the human ASGR1 gene, which encodes the protein, asialoglycoprotein receptor 1. The protein is known to mediate the endocytosis of plasma glycoproteins to which the terminal sialic acid residue on their complex carbohydrate moieties has been removed. The ASGR1 protein is 291 amino acid residues in length and 33.2 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is found to be preferentially expressed in hepatic parenchymal cells. This protein is known to be phosphorylated and glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include ASGPR1.
Some ASGPR ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 31.2 ng/mL and as high as 2000 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
