RPSA ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein ribosomal protein SA, which is encoded by the RPSA gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be required for the assembly and/or stability of the 40S ribosomal subunit. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 295 residues, a mass of 32.9 kDa, and is a member of the Universal ribosomal protein uS2 protein family. It is known to be localized in the cell membrane, nucleus, and cytoplasm. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally cleaved. The RPSA gene has been associated with the disease, Asplenia. Other alias names for this target include 67LR, ICAS, LAMBR, LAMR1, LBP, LBP/p40, LRP, and 37LRP.
The detection range for different RPSA ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 5000 pg/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
