HS2ST1 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein heparan sulfate 2-O-sulfotransferase 1, which is encoded by the HS2ST1 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to catalyze the transfer of sulfate to the C2-position of selected hexuronic acid residues within the maturing heparan sulfate (HS). The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 356 residues, a mass of 41.9 kDa, and is a member of the Sulfotransferase 3 protein family. It is known to be localized in the golgi. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. The HS2ST1 gene has been associated with the disease, Neurofacioskeletal syndrome with or without renal agenesis. Other alias names for this target include dJ604K5.2, 2-O-sulfotransferase, 2OST, and NFSRA.
There are HS2ST1 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 78 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
