CETP ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein cholesteryl ester transfer protein, which is encoded by the CETP gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be involved in transfer of neutral lipids, including cholesteryl ester and triglyceride, among lipoprotein particles. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 493 residues, a mass of 54.8 kDa, and is a member of the BPI/LBP protein family. It is known to be secreted and is notably expressed by the liver and secreted in plasma. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. The CETP gene has been associated with the disease, Hyperalphalipoproteinemia. Other alias names for this target include HDLCQ10, BPI fold containing family F, cholesteryl ester transfer protein plasma, lipid transfer protein I, and BPIFF.
There are CETP ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 31.2 pg/mL and as high as 200 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
