WLS ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein Wnt ligand secretion mediator, which is encoded by the WLS gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to regulate Wnt proteins sorting and secretion in a feedback regulatory mechanism. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 541 residues, a mass of 62.3 kDa, and is a member of the Wntless protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasmic vesicles, ER, golgi, and cell membrane. As many as 3 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally N-glycosylated. The WLS gene has been associated with the disease, Zaki syndrome. Other alias names for this target include G protein-coupled receptor 177, integral membrane protein GPR177, protein evenness interrupted homolog, putative NF-kappa-B-activating protein 373, and protein wntless homolog.
Some WLS ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
