PXMP4 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein peroxisomal membrane protein 4, which is encoded by the PXMP4 gene in humans. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 212 residues, a mass of 24.3 kDa, and is a member of the Peroxisomal membrane protein PXMP2/4 protein family. It is known to be localized in the peroxisomes and is reported to be expressed in normal prostate epithelial cells, and androgen-sensitive prostate adenocarcinoma cells. As many as 2 protein isoforms have been reported. The protein has been noted to be post-translationally glycosylated. Other alias names for this target include 24 kDa peroxisomal intrinsic membrane protein, peroxisomal membrane protein 4, 24kDa, and PMP24.
Some PXMP4 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
