These NKX3.1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of NKX3.1 in biological samples. NKX3.1 is an alias of the human NKX3-1 gene, which encodes the protein, NK3 homeobox 1. Notably, NKX3.1 is known to play a role in the apoptotic pathway and cell differentiation, among other functions. The NKX3-1 protein is 234 amino acid residues in length and 26.4 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 5 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the nucleus of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be highly expressed in the prostate and, at a lower level, in the testis. This protein is known to be ubiquitinated. Other names for this target antigen include BAPX2, NKX3, and NKX3.1.
The detection range for different NKX3.1 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 15.6 pg/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
