RBP5 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein retinol binding protein 5, which is encoded by the RBP5 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is reported to be an intracellular transport of retinol. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 135 residues, a mass of 15.9 kDa, and is a member of the Fatty-acid binding protein (FABP) protein family. It is known to be localized in the cytoplasm and is reported be highly expressed in adult kidney and liver and to a lesser extent in adult and fetal spleen, adult lymph nodes and appendix, and fetal liver and kidney. Other alias names for this target include putative cellular retinol-binding protein CRBP III, retinol binding protein 5, cellular, and cellular retinol-binding protein III.
There are RBP5 ELISA kits that can detect a target at concentrations as low as 0.312 ng/mL and as high as 100 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
