NHP2 ELISA kits are immunoassay tools for the measurement of the protein NHP2 ribonucleoprotein, which is encoded by the NHP2 gene in humans. Functionally, this protein is known to be required for ribosome biogenesis and telomere maintenance. The canonical protein structure is reported to have an amino acid length of 153 residues, a mass of 17.2 kDa, and is a member of the Eukaryotic ribosomal protein eL8 protein family. It is known to be localized in the nucleus and is reported to be expressed in the brain, colon, heart, kidney, ovary, pancreas, placenta, prostate, skeletal muscle, small intestine, spleen, testis and thymus. The NHP2 gene has been associated with the disease, Dyskeratosis congenita. Other alias names for this target include NHP2 ribonucleoprotein homolog, NHP2-like protein, nucleolar protein family A, member 2 (H/ACA small nucleolar RNPs), snoRNP protein NHP2, and H/ACA ribonucleoprotein complex subunit 2.
Some Nhp2 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 10 ng/mL. Click on the products below for more detailed ELISA kit information, such as target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
