The BLC ELISA kits listed below utilize specific antibodies for the plate-based assay of BLC in various samples. BLC is another term for the CXCL13 gene, which encodes the protein, C-X-C motif chemokine ligand 13 in humans. It has been reported that BLC plays a role in GTPase activation and receptor-mediated signaling pathways, among other functions. Structurally, the CXCL13 protein is described to be 109 amino acid residues in length and 12.7 kilodaltons in mass. It is known to be a secreted protein. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported be highly expressed in liver, followed by spleen, lymph node, appendix and stomach. Other names for this target antigen include ANGIE, ANGIE, and ANGIE2.
Some BLC ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 1.37 pg/mL and as high as 80 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
