ApoER2 ELISA Kits

These ApoER2 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of ApoER2 in biological samples. ApoER2 is an alias of the human LRP8 gene, which encodes the protein, LDL receptor related protein 8. Notably, ApoER2 is known to play a role in cholesterol metabolism and homeostasis and chemical synaptic transmission, among other functions. The LRP8 protein is 963 amino acid residues in length and 105.6 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 5 protein isoforms have been identified. Its subcellular localization is in the cell membrane and is secreted. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in the brain and placenta. This protein is known to be O-glycosylated, ubiquitinated, cleaved and phosphorylated. Other names for this target antigen include HSZ75190.
