These EAAT1 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of EAAT1 in biological samples. EAAT1 is an alias of the human SLC1A3 gene, which encodes the protein, solute carrier family 1 member 3. Notably, EAAT1 is known to play a role in neuronal differentiation and chemical synaptic transmission, among other functions. The SLC1A3 protein is 542 amino acid residues in length and 59.6 kilodaltons in mass. However, as many as 2 protein isoforms have been identified. It is localized to the cell membrane of the cell. In terms of tissue specificity, it is notably expressed in the brain. This protein is known to be glycosylated. Other names for this target antigen include EA6 and GLAST.
Some EAAT1 ELISA kits can detect targets at levels as low as 0.156 ng/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
