These Cytokeratin 19 ELISA kits are immunodetection tools for measuring the levels of Cytokeratin 19 in biological samples. Cytokeratin 19 is an alias of the human KRT19 gene, which encodes the protein, keratin 19. Notably, Cytokeratin 19 is known to play a role in epithelial cell differentiation and the Notch signaling pathway, among other functions. The KRT19 protein is described to be 400 amino acid residues in length and 44.1 kilodaltons in mass. In terms of tissue specificity, it is reported to be expressed in a defined zone of basal keratinocytes in the deep outer root sheath of hair follicles. Other names for this target antigen include CK19, K19, and K1CS.
The detection range for different Cytokeratin 19 ELISA kits can vary, with some assays measuring target concentrations as low as 7.8 pg/mL and as high as 20 ng/mL. Click on the following ELISA kits for more detailed information, including target reactivity and assay sensitivity.
